All quarry property has a mine plan for land restoration and reclamation when active operations cease. Bussen Quarries provides construction aggregate materials for LEED certified projects and strives for maximum recycling at each plant. We even reuse rain water and storm water runoff as a dust suppressant on all haul roads. Bussen actually owns significantly more acres of untouched, natural habitat than acres of active quarry property.
