The Bussen family bought Trautman Quarry in 1967 to service the Jefferson County area. The Trautman plant is located just off I-55 and highway Z in Pevely, Missouri.
Trautman Quarry consists of Joachim, Plattin and Kimmswick rock deposits at a great location right off a major highway. Thanks to a recently upgraded plant, Trautman Quarry is ready to supply asphalt stone and concrete stone as well as MODOT and MSD materials. As an Army Corps of Engineers approved site, Trautman is able to produce large stone for river projects. Due to our excellent limestone deposit, Trautman is proud to be one of the only local sources of Gradation E Concrete Stone for bridge work.
