In 1957, Antire Quarry opened to service Saint Louis County, Jefferson County and its surrounding areas. Conveniently located near I-44 and Antire road in Eureka, this operation offers an excellent source for the growing suburbs of Saint Louis.
Antire has significant limestone reserves in the Joachim, Plattin, and Kimmswick deposits. This high quality stone creates state approved aggregates for the production of concrete and asphalt. We also meet requirements for USACE, MODOT, and MSD projects. The high calcium content of our limestone and wet processing plant enables Antire to provide extremely high quality agricultural limestone that is used all across our state.
